Custom Fields In HeatMap Theme
HeatMap Theme includes a number of custom fields which can be used to configure certain aspects of pages and posts:
meta-description
You can set the meta description of each page using this custom field.
meta-keywords
…and you can also set meta keywords on a page by page basis too.
more-text
If you use the [more] shortcode in your post, you can change the default ‘Read More’ link for each article listed on the homepage to something a little more descriptive and inviting such as ‘Find out more about Widgets!’ (this does not work for the for the ‘featured page’ feature).
thumbnail
The URL of a thumbnail image associated with the post which is used by the HeatMap Theme ‘Recent Posts PLUS’ widget.
short-excerpt
A very short text excerpt for use with the HeatMap Theme ‘Recent Posts PLUS’ widget.
short-more-text
Link text which sits underneath the short-excerpt when using the HeatMap Theme ‘Recent Posts PLUS’ widget.
