Category ID Exclusion
The may be some situations in which you would like to remove a category from the Categories Bar, such as the ‘uncategorized’ category.
To do this you’ll need to discover the category id of the category you would to exclude. Here’s how it’s done…
- Go to Posts -> Categories
- Run your mouse over the list of links to categories.
- You’ll see that the link to each category has a category ID embedded in it.
- Take note of the Category ID and pop that in the Category ID exclusion box.
Then its time to pop on over to…
HeatMap Options -> Navigation Options -> Category ID’s to exclude
If you want to exclude multiple categories then you can seperate the category id’s with commas.
